W3C XHTML2 group to stop and help the HTML5 group
W3C has recently announced (via it’s FAQ) that the XHTML2 group will stop working on their specifications and will not have their charter renewed. While mostly everyone has stopped having interest in the XHTML specs it’s still a bit of a shock.
Anything helping the HTML5 specs to be finished faster is a good thing as far as I am concern.
