The Perfect Homepage
Don’t you find it weird that after a decade of internet browsing, your homepage is still a search engine? Shouldn’t it be something more useful like your rss feeds, news, social networking, etc?
When Google launched Chrome, we had something new in the browser launch screen. We had screenshots of the websites we visited. This was a new start for browser homepages. Safari soon followed with the same thing for Safari 4, but they added an unnecessary, but still cool, 3d effect.
Still, it’s pretty basic and not really filling the perfect homepage goal. Last week I was in my shower (well.. yeah..) and wondered why nobody thought of that and maybe I should start a project for the perfect homepage. However, after some research I found that Netvibe had beat me to it.

Rss feeds? Checked. Deezer music? Checked. Facebook Connect? Checked. Tweeter App? Checked. Weather Forecast? Checked.
A really nice cloud application.
